The short answer
This site does not know who you are and does not try to find out.
Reading this site requires nothing from you. There is no login, no contact form, no comment section, no cart — so there is no such thing as personal information you have submitted here.
To decide what to write next, the site runs Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Both record page-level behaviour — which page was opened, which search term or link led to it, roughly how long it was read — not who you are.
The site carries no advertising, is not monetised, and sells or trades data to no one.
The two tools in use
Two of them, and both can be blocked in your browser.
Here is what each one collects, and the settings this site applies to narrow that collection.
Google Analytics 4

- Page path and title, referral source (search engine, external link, or direct), approximate location at country level, device and browser type, time on page, and the order pages were visited in.
- Settings applied
- Google Signals is disabled (no cross-device advertising audiences), ad-personalisation signals are disabled, and IP anonymisation is on — your address is truncated before it is recorded.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Corporation
- Collects
- Click heatmaps, scroll depth, pointer and touch paths, and anonymised session replay — a reconstruction of page structure and interaction, not a video of your screen.
- Settings applied
- Clarity is started in cookie-less mode, so no identifier is written to recognise you across sessions, and the Clarity project has full text masking enabled: page text and any input are not sent back.
Stating this plainly
Session replay records what you do on the page, not your screen.
Even with text masking on, Clarity's session replay still records pointer movement, click positions, and scrolling. That is how a heatmap tool works, and leaving it out would make this page useless.
It records interaction inside this site's pages. It cannot see your other tabs, cannot see your desktop, and does not touch your camera or microphone. There are no input fields anywhere on this site, so there is no typed content to record.
This scope seems proportionate for a public, account-free content site — but you are entitled to decline it, and the ways to do that are below.
Boundaries
None of the following happens here.
- No visit data is sold, rented, or traded.
- No advertising is served, no ad audiences are built, no cross-site targeting is performed.
- No personal profile is built and no attempt is made to identify an individual visitor.
- No sensitive information is collected — there is nowhere on this site to submit any.
- This data is not used to train models and is not offered as a data service.
Opting out
Three ways, none of which affect your reading.
Declining measurement costs you no content: every page is static HTML and reads normally with scripts blocked.
(1) Install any content blocker — uBlock Origin and similar block both domains by default. (2) Use Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on. (3) Use Clarity's opt-out page. Browser "Do Not Track" settings and third-party cookie blocking also reduce what either tool can collect.
Each vendor's own handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy.
