Short description

Bond with 150 spirits and retrace the Journey to the West three centuries after the gods fall silent.

Full description

YaoBound is an original Chinese mythology creature-collecting RPG set three centuries after Journey to the West. Heaven has barred its gates, Vulture Peak has sealed the western road, and black-red Eclipse Marks are erasing the instincts and memories of spirits. A young herbalist named A-Yan bonds with three companions in Water Curtain Cave and follows the missing merit west. The game combines readable affinity counters, three-active six-spirit parties, branching evolution, playable tribulations, ten revisitable regions, and a permanent 100-floor tower.

Core scope

150

bondable spirits

Each spirit has an ecology, history, combat role, and growth path.

10

regions on the western road

Travel from Mount Huaguo to Vulture Peak and trace the stolen merit.

100

permanent tower floors

A postgame trial designed as permanent content rather than a limited season.

3 + 3

active and reserve spirits

Three companions act together while three reserves enter through tactical switching.
